Welcome to the Women's Health Clinic Website,
Dedicated to Gynaecological Disorders.
We hope you will find it informative, easy to understand, and helpful in sorting out any Women’s Health Problems you might have.
Here you will find information on a wide range of Women's Health Disorders. Symptoms women may experience include Heavy or Painful Menses, Irregular Cycles, Scanty, Absent or Excessively Frequent Periods, Painful Intercourse, Bleeding after Intercourse, Loss of Libido, Vaginal Discharge, Itchiness of the Vulva or Vagina, Infertility or Failure to Conceive, Genital Prolapse, Urinary Incontinence (UI) and Symptoms of the Menopause, to name but the more important or common ones. Some women may conceive easily, but suffer Repeated Miscarriages.
Some of these symptoms may be due to recognized conditions such as Fibroids (benign swellings of the muscle of the womb), Endometriosis or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Infertility may be associated with PCOS, blocked tubes or Low Sperm Count. Treatable causes may account for repeated Early Pregnancy Loss (Miscarriage). However, at least some basic investigations are required to reach the Diagnosis before definitive Treatment is offered.
Many women ignore Gynaecological Symptoms, either fearing the worst, or being embarrassed by the symptoms and therefore reluctant to see a Gynaecologist. You are well advised never to ignore symptoms. It is advisable to see your GP in the first instance, who will often make the appropriate referral.
